Max and Maria-Sara graduated from their MFA at USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2022, when they realized their creative inclinations were so in tune they might as well get married and open a production company. 

 

They are now a multi award winning creative duo working internationally, they just finished producing their first feature film and are in development on many more. They take the project from concept to screen and everything in between and always look forward to collaborate with talented good people with a passion for meaningful genre filmmaking.

They strive to create stories that help the audience escape while promoting critical thinking. Bantam Bears movies evoke the emotions of mythical adventures and heroes catapulting the audience into the far, but familiar worlds in narratives about LGBTQ+ underdogs, mental health, family, magic, science and willpower.
